Remember the Blue Flamingo? The tiny Austin punk/tranny bar on the corner of 7th and Red River that many of the bands posted and/or talked about on this blog played at? Well, the fine folks running The Blue Flamingo Facebook Page have organized a Blue Flamingo Tribute/Reunion show, with many of the local bands from the Blue Flamingo era reuniting for this special occasion. Lineup for the two-night event is below:Day One:

Both shows are benefits for the SIMS Foundation which is a really great cause, so don't be worried that someone is using this to bankroll their personal savings account. Look for many more of the records by these bands to be posted on the Texas Punk Treasure Chest in the upcoming weeks (in addition to the ones which already have), and see you at the shows.
