Skatenigs - "Chemical Imbalance" single

Here's a Monday morning quickie- The Skatenigs were a bunch of miscreants and outcasts from Austin, Tx in the late 80s and early to mid-90s.  Their vocalist Phil Owns was buddies with Al Jourgenson and the Wax Trax Records bunch, and performed on the Revolting Cocks "Beers, Steers and Queers" album.  I first heard of the Skatenigs when someone was handing out free copies of this single on cassette at a skate park in 1990 or so (before it actually came out on Wax Trax).  They played industrial tinged rock with a strong punk influence.  Members went on to form Choreboy with Chris Gates (of the Big boys).
The intro was done by Austin poet Lorri Jackson (who sadly died of a heroin overdose in October of 1990), and the B side is a cover of the Big Boys song The Big Picture (from the classic Texas compilation "Cottage Cheese From The Lips Of Death") that they renamed Damage 43 for some reason.

1991 Wax Trax

1. Chemical Imbalance
2. Damage 43
